    Hi,
I am studying about API Gateway and thought i have fair knowledge :) . It is a single point contact for all communications with the application. I mean all incoming requests and response go-through api gateway there by it provides increased security, logging, request routing etc.

As a best practice, we route both incoming and outgoing traffice via api-gateway, yet following are by questions

    1. Once you configure api gateway, Do all outgoing connections go via api gateway?
    2. Is it a good practice to byepass api-gateway to call any 3rd party apis directly from any BL/Backend servers?

    Please help.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I am having an issue with an Soap API that I am importing into APIM. The service only has two operations however one has a very complex object that is being returned in the response. When the WSDL is imported into an APIM development instance, the UI becomes unresponsive when I browse the API list and I am not able to view the operations for the Soap API that I imported. I have scaled the instance up to a standard instance and I am able to view the operations list however when I attempt to load the design view of the large operation I get an unable to load error, retry later. The overall WSDL file is only 161K so I am wondering if there is a size or complexity limit to the APIM functionality. Is there any way to confirm this?

    Please help.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
when can we officially give up on last-gen consoles so that games are not hamstrung by their last-gen counterparts? I feel like developers are trying to split the difference on current-gen and last-gen games to the point that they're making two compromised games instead of one uncompromised game. Interested to hear your thoughts?

    Please help.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I just saw the article on that MSI gaming laptop then I thought, why is it that gaming laptops have to look so tacky?

Background: I have a generic-looking Lenovo (IdeaPad?) G405 that I really like despite the meh specs.

But why is it that "function over form" has to mean "no form at all"? You can easily take any generic laptop, make it thicker for the gaming specs, if you really ant lights, add an MBA style backlight to the keys, then add higher res screen, voila! a simple laptop that specs would qualify as gaming.

But, really? Why do most gaming laptops look bad?

    Please help.
    Thanks!

    Hi all,

In science and mathematics, one may discover truths, and answers, but in philosophy, all one encounters are arguments. In more than 3,000 years of argument, no philosopher has ever explained what is moral, what is immoral, or even if morality exists. If there is a problem that cannot be answered by science and mathematics, then it most certainly cannot be answered by philosophy. Therefore, aside from some entertainment value, philosophy serves no useful purpose. Ijn fact, it is rather harmful, because the time and energy one spends in studying philosophy could be better put to use studying math and science. Any takers?

    Thanks

    Hello All

I am a MBA Marketing post graduate. I have graduated with computer science engineering. But I am not interested in marketing, I am much interested in working on computers like networking, website based work, trouble shooting and all, and I also a .net programmer. My friend suggested me to learn ITIL and work on it. I thought it is more likely to related with system OS installations, PC troubleshooting and kind of those, but here when I searched about ITIL, I found mostly about change management, incident management and etc. which are seemed to be theory kind of things. I am working now as a management trainee in marketing field. Could any one suggest me that changing from marketing field to ITIL field is good or not. Do I get interesting things to work in ITIL field. Please suggest me. However decision lies on my side.

    Thanks in advance.
